Bob Hudson is a Visiting Professor in CHSS. He has a long (and ongoing) academic career in teaching, research and consultancy. He has held previous academic posts at New College Durham and the Universities of Leeds, Durham, Birmingham and Glasgow as well as spell as a Visiting Fellow at the King’s Fund Institute. He has undertaken work for central government departments and agencies in England, Scotland and Wales, as well as many regional and local NHS and local government authorities. Bob has also served as a special advisor to the House of Commons Education Select Committee.
His research interests and expertise include UK public policy, especially health and social care; policy implementation; inter-agency partnership working; inter-professional team working; markets in adult social care.
