CHSS PG taught programmes for Health Leaders

Healthcare management skills for a changing climate

Posted on 23rd November 2015

Global pharma company Abbvie have provided funding for CHSS, in collaboration with Kent Business School, to develop a bespoke programme of postgraduate learning for health leaders.

PG certificate and PG Diploma focus on Healthcare Management. The MSc will cover Management and Leadership. The programmes will deliver the skills necessary for health leaders to manage a changing health care climate, addressing new approaches within and across NHS, EU and other global health systems.

CHSS Research Fellows Ferhana Hashem and Rowena Merritt, assisted by Research Assistant Catherine Marchand are developing the teaching modules for 2016 and beyond. Kent Business School will provide valuable management, leadership and marketing expertise.

CHSS will also deliver the new programmes through flexible learning. The programmes complement and develop recent CHSS work in supporting healthcare managers in adapting to structural changes and shifts in health care delivery.
