About the Award
What is the Careers Award
The Kent Careers Award is a free online programme that gives you the chance to think about your career and what type of opportunities are open to you.
The programme has been developed to allow you to recognise your skills and experience, identify career options and ways to market yourself effectively to employers. It is split into sections that you can work through at your own pace and time and then receive feedback from us .
The award is open to both undergraduate and post graduate students and is applicable to all subject disciplines
Why should I sign up
- Graduate recruiters notice straight away if an award has been mentioned on an application. It tells them that you have tried hard to develop your skill set to have the opportunity to stand out from the crowd during the interview process as well as develop the confidence and skills to be successful in the workplace.
- You can request feedback and further help us as you work through the award
- Successful completion of the award will also give you 60 Employability Points . ( Please note that if you completing the award as part of an assessed module, you won’t be able to claim the points, please check with the module convenor)
