I went last year

The University of Kent has developed some excellent relationships with employers who chose to attend our Careers Fair annually to meet with students and recent graduates but we are always striving to develop more. At the 2017 event we had 49 first-time exhibitors

I had work and didn’t receive enough notice to book annual leave

Save the date now! Tuesday 16 October 2018

I was told by another student that you should only go in your 3rd year

Exhibitors are offering both graduate and undergraduate opportunities. Check out the exhibitor information via Who will be there? to find out what sort of opportunities are available

I did not know what to say to them

We can help with this! Check out the events taking place during Employability Festival on how to prepare for the Careers Fair

Careers Fairs are daunting

We can understand that. Check out the Access Hour page for an innovation we are making this year that may help. Please note: no previous disclosure required

There wasn’t anyone for my degree subject

  • Think outside the box! In 2017, 91 out of 132 exhibitors told us they would like to speak with students and graduates from all degree subjects. Check out this year’s list on the There’s nothing for me! page
  • Whilst we strive to reach employers from all degree subjects, some industries just do not recruit via the careers fair route. We therefore encourage these employers to meet with our students at events during Employability Festival that are tailored better for their industry
