Like many other British and Irish universities, the University of Kent is happy to offer help and guidance to graduates of other universities during the first three years after their graduation if you are unable to visit your own university. However, we must give priority to our own students, particularly during the busy Autumn and Spring terms. If you are not a Kent student or graduate and would like to use the Careers and Employability Service facilities, please note the following:

At any time of year you are welcome to:

  • Use the Careers Information Room, where you will find a range of material on occupations, employers and post-graduate study including graduate directories, careers information booklets, magazines and general career guides.
  • Use the computer facilities : we can provide access to the Internet for careers purposes, although priority in using the PCs will be given to Kent students. Ask the member of staff at the Careers Helpdesk to log you in.
  • Watch a DVD from our collection.

While non-Kent graduates are welcome to visit the Careers and Employability Service at Kent for advice and information as set out above, we cannot provide you with advice by phone or email and you should contact your own university for this.

Most areas of this website are accessible on and off campus - email if you have any problems.
Although we will help graduates of other universities to the best of our ability, please note that this ability may be limited if:
