Below, you will find a simple Humanities postgraduate CV. It is not a CV for applying to academic posts, which would be much longer. Have a look at it and make up your own mind.

PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am looking for management training which offers me the opportunity to develop new skills while strengthening those I already possess. I am a Humanities postgraduate with museum and service sector experience. My main strengths are adaptability, dependability and the determination to get a job done. I also learn fast and make few mistakes.

A clear, well written objective or personal profile can help to stand out from the crowd in the competitive area of the media. Avoid hackneyed phrases such as "I have good communication skills and work well in a team"!
