Prof. Knight, a prolific author with over 100 refereed articles in academic journals and conference proceedings, was an executive in international business, with a focus in Europe, Japan, and Mexico. He is known for his work on Born Global Firms for which, along with Professor S. Tamer Cavusgil, won the 2014 Decade Award at the Journal of International Business Studies.
He will be presenting the case study on Child and Family Wellness in Kenya – HOW DO YOU SCALE-UP SERVING THE BOTTOM OF THE PYRAMID BY ADDRESSING COMPLEX SOCIAL ISSUES IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES?
Gary will be discussing the work CK Prahalad on how companies can support poverty at the bottom of the pyramid asking participants to reflect on the following question: How can companies address poverty at the bottom of the pyramid (drawing on the work of Professor CK Prahalad)?
