Power Pilates

Power Pilates – Based on traditional Classic Joseph Pilates techniques and positions. Focusing on strength and stretch using light weights with eccentric muscle contraction, recruiting deep muscle tone. Suitable for all levels with adaptations for beginners, intermediate and advanced. Please be aware that this Pilates class may start a few minutes late - please arrive on time and if there is a slight delay at the beginning, we apologise for any inconvenience.

You can book your class online, or visit the Sports Centre or Pavilion receptions where Premium plus can book up to 7 days and Premium, 5 days in advance You can use the self-service kiosk in reception or a member of staff can assist you. Pay to play members can book classes up to three days in advance.Please arrive and book in at least 20 minutes before your class start time. Late entry to classes is not permitted. If you are unable to attend a class, and you booked by phone, you must cancel your booking by emailing sportstudio@kent.ac.uk no later than 30 minutes prior to the class start time. Your membership account will be limited until outstanding fines for each 'no show' are paid if this procedure is not followed.

Open to Kent Sport members, Free to Gold and Silver members. ,

Pay to play members pay per person, per activity (Student - £4.50, Staff and Public Junior - £5.50, Alumni and Public Adult - £6.50). Class fees are payable at the Sports Centre reception or online. No attendance will incur a fee for all.
