Please join us at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT) inaugural Home Grown Research Event. This is a collaboration between KMPT and the University of Kent, with colleagues joining us from organisations such as the NHS, academia and the NIHR in Kent and Medway to start to develop research ideas relevant to our local population.
Research plays an integral role in enhancing our services. This research day aims to increase mental health research opportunities in our region for everyone – service users, KMPT staff and academics.
The morning talks will bring together speakers to discuss how do develop research ideas on a practical level and how we can work together to produce Kent home-grown research.
The afternoon workshops will offer the chance to break off into topics of interest; to develop research ideas and potentially form themed research interest groups for the future.
Topics of these workshops are;
- Physical health and wellbeing
- Organic and neurodevelopmental disorders
- Mother and infant mental health
- Enduring mental health conditions
- Personality disorders
Co-production and digital ideas will also be explored within these topics.
We look forward to seeing you there.Visit the event web page
