Classics and Archaeology Public Lectures Autumn 2018
New Discoveries and Research from the University of Kent.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in the work of the department (future, current, or past students, members of the public) to hear about the latest research in archaeology at Kent, with papers by Dr David Walsh on the Cult of Mithras in Late Antiquity, by Dr Ellen Swift on Experimental Archaeology and Roman Material Culture, by Dr Luke Lavan on New Pagan Temples built at the time of Constantine, and by Dr Andy Bates on Hill Forts of Kent. Andy will also lead a guided tour of Bigbury, the Iron Age Hillfort that is found a short distance from our campus.
