Schedule

The schedule for the afternoon will be as follows:

2.30pm: Arrival and registration in the Grimond Building (this is located behind the library, please see the following webpage for a map: https://www.kent.ac.uk/maps/canterbury/canterbury-campus/building/grimond-building

3pm: David Herd (Professor of Modern Literature and Head of the School of English) welcomes and introduces Peter Brown (Professor of Medieval Literature in the School of English) who will be speaking on the subject of 'Canterbury Revisited', a lecture that will reflect on some of the city's literary affiliations

4pm: Drinks reception

5pm: Dr Vybarr Cregan-Reid (Senior Lecturer in English and American Literature) in conversation with Amy Sackville (Lecturer in Creative Writing) about Vybarr's recent publication Footnotes: How Running Makes us Human (Ebury Press, 2016)

6pm: Close
