There are also a wide range of sports clubs aimed at young professionals – some examples are : Brussels Gay Sports (http://www.bgs.org/en), Brussels International Badminton Club (http://brusselsbadminton.com/) and the Manneke Pis running group (http://bmph3.webnode.com/). There are hundreds of running clubs aimed at all levels and you’ll find most advertise via meetup.
Every commune has its own swimming pool allowing access to residents for as little as €1.80 per visit. Otherwise, there are three public pools in Brussels that offer good rates, please see https://www.brussels.be/swimming-pools.
The VUB (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) does have a pool open to all, but this is currently closed for renovation – it should re-open in October 2017.
