You can apply quickly and easily online, but there are a few things to check before you begin your online application and you should ensure that you have your documents prepared beforehand. A decision cannot be made until you have submitted all the required documentation, so we recommend that these are submitted as soon as possible.
All applicants for the MA and LLM programmes at the School should possess a Bachelor degree or equivalent. We accept a wide range of subjects for entry and you do not need to have necessarily studied Political Science or law previously. Typical first degrees of our students include Economics, History, Classics, Languages, Philosophy, Geography & Psychology (among others).
The standard of the degree will normally be at least an Upper Second Class Honours degree from countries such as the UK, Ghana, Nigeria or Kenya, or a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0/4.0 under the American system from an accredited institution or equivalent.
We accept a wide range of qualifications and you can find the general entry requirements for some countries on the University’s main website. If your country is not listed or you need further clarification, please contact the School directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
We need to receive evidence of your academic qualifications. Scanned copies in the application are suitable in the first instance, but please note we will need to see an official hard copy to confirm your offer – this can be done when you arrive at the School for registration. You should ask the institution which awarded your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) to send you or us an interim or final transcript (a list of all the modules/courses you have taken with the mark achieved for each) or letter certifying your award.
