Open to PhD students of all nationalities
We are delighted to announce that we are calling for applications for two doctoral scholarships to students starting in September 2018.
At the Brussels School, we provide research supervision on a wide range of topics across Law, Politics and International Relations. The School has a tradition of high-quality research among its staff and students and our vibrant research culture attract students from all over the world who conduct interdisciplinary research. We offer doctoral degrees in International Relations, Comparative Politics, Political and Social Thought, International Conflict Analysis and Law. We advise all interested applicants to identify a potential supervisor from the list of Brussels School of International Studies academic staff. Click for details of the research interests of our staff.
Candidates must hold a good Master’s degree at high merit or distinction in a relevant subject (relevant subjects include, but are not limited to: Anthropology, Economics, History, International Relations, Law, Political Geography, Political Science and Sociology).
The scholarship competition is open to all new postgraduate research applicants.

To be eligible for these scholarships, candidates must make a formal application for postgraduate research study at the University of Kent. Applications to the University can be made online. For a complete application, we require a 3,000 word research proposal, transcripts from both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and two academic references.
