Brussels School of International Studies

One of the key characteristics of the Brussels School of International Studies is the cohesion of its student body and this enthusiasm and ‘esprit de corps’ maps across into the alumni network.  Whilst some educational institutions might see alumni as sources of funding, the focus of BSIS alumni is very much on networking, staying in touch and providing job and internship opportunities to those who have newly graduated.  This vibrant network, enhanced by reunions across the globe, provides alumni with an enviable resource of which they can be justifiably proud.

The school acts a pivotal point providing information about the school through the bi-monthly newsletter and circulating information on job opportunities through the alumni mailing list.  In both Washington DC and Ottawa there are very active alumni communities with regular reunions.  In Brussels, alumni make the most of the regular meetings of Network Brussels which brings together employers and young professionals from the NGOs, agencies and think tanks which are clustered around the EU institutions, with students and alumni from the Brussels-based English speaking universities, in a social setting.
