PhD project: Household survival in crisis: austerity and relatedness in Greece and Portugal
Lisa’s research explores the effects of the 2008 financial crisis with a particular focus on university-educated Portuguese migrants in London and their families. By examining aspects of work/labour and morality, relatedness and movement, she aims to analyse how socio-economic and political forces shape the decisions and perceptions with which her participants view themselves and the world around them.
