The Success Accelerator Scheme

The Success Accelerator Scheme aims to inspire students at Kent to achieve a career in the City. We currently have 12 alumni mentors but we are seeking more. If you are an alumnus of Kent Law School, the School of Economics or the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Acturial Science, or if you work in the City and would like to inspire students from these Academic Schools please do get in touch. We are looking for 1-2 hours a week commmitment. As well as inspiring our students the scheme will also enable you to expand your network as mentors and meet regularly in various locations around London.

Alumni Pub Nights speaker

Dates: Last Tuesday of every other month, 18.00–20.00
Location: Various
Alumni Pub Nights is a new social and networking series for Kent alumni and students, held every other month in Canterbury, Medway or London. Network with fellow alumni, current Kent students and staff, and catch up on news from Kent. Each event will include a specific theme or a guest speaker so you can choose the most relevant to you or come along to learn something new! We’re looking for speakers now!

Regional contact

Dates: Ongoing
Location: Worldwide
Regional contacts are our main point of contact for a specific geographical region. You would be supporting prospective and current students, staff and fellow alumni by offering advice and event support for the local area and potentially attending recruitment events or meetings on behalf of the University.

KEW-NET e-Mentor

Dates: Ongoing
Location: Virtual
The Kent Experiences of Work Network (KEW-NET) is a professional e-mentoring and networking tool for Kent students and graduates. The network is made up of alumni and business professionals connected to the University who offer advice and opportunities to current students and fellow alumni.
