Our commitment to you

We consistently strive to provide staff and students with a professional service by:

Developing efficient and effective systems

We have a strong motivation to improve our systems, facilities, and policies to meet the requirements of staff and students and enhance their user experience.

Being enthusiastic and responsive

We are keen to engage with staff and students to enable prompt and appropriate action

Providing a reliable and comprehensive range of services

We are committed to offering a range of services that are deemed to be timely and highly relevant

Demonstrating the highest standards of fair, ethical and professional behaviour

We are dedicated to high standards of professional behaviour, free from self-interest and bias

Listening carefully to student and staff needs

We aim to embrace the needs of others through developing greater understanding and shared priorities

Remaining courteous and approachable at all times

We promise a professional approach where politeness and consideration form the basis of our interaction with people

How you can help us to help you

To fulfil our commitment to you we expect staff and students to:

Treat our staff with courtesy at all times

We aim to act with courtesy towards staff and students and we expect the same level of courtesy in return

Inform us of your needs in a timely manner

Although we can deal with some requests at short notice we try to plan as much as possible in advance

Acknowledge that some constraints are beyond our control

We will always work in the best interest of staff and students but there will be times when our efforts will be restricted by external policies and regulations

Work in partnership to adhere to University priorities, policies and procedures

Our administrators are responsible for ensuring the School adheres to University policy and external regulations. We ask that staff and students recognise this and, where appropriate, work with us to lobby for change where policies and regulations are restricting developments within the School or wider University

Offer constructive feedback that we can use to improve systems or services

We continuously strive to enhance our service, so we embrace feedback that helps us to improve our performance
