Video hosting and live streaming
Staff have had the ability to publish video in their departmental web pages for some time, but this often isn’t a straightforward process. We can offer advice or directly help get your videos into your web pages. Using our video streaming server, we can host many hours of video for all uses. Amongst its many other advantages it allows viewers to skip within a video to any point in time giving people the freedom to consume the content in the way most useful for them.
Using some recently acquired specialist equipment we can now stream events live over the University’s network and across the internet at large. Using multiple cameras and feeds we can produce a professional live production from various places on campus. This service is currently a pilot geared towards guest speakers or special events within certain lecture theatres but we can discuss any other suggestions or ideas you may have for your specific project.
