You simply put a link on your web page and then when a user clicks it they will be able to view the reading list for the module specified in the link.
The Templeman Library website offers a service where departments can link to a page displaying the reading lists of any course taught by departments. This is useful as it automatically displays the availability of any of the books listed.
Use the following URL to link to the reading list of a course:
http://plato.kent.ac.uk/cgi-bin/kform?enqtype=READING&enqpara1=titles&coursecode=AANNN
You need to replace the final AANNN with the course code. If you do not use upper case, the page will not list any book. For example to show the reading list of the Film and History course, you need to replace AANNN with the FI802 course code. Follow the FI802 link to see an example of this service.
Sometimes, the link will return a blank page with course codes that do not exist. This happens when the Library has not been informed which books are part of the reading list. In this case contact the course convenors and ask them to get in touch with their subject librarian.
