Collaborative Provision

The Office for Quality Assurance and Validation is part of the Unit for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (UELT) and has responsibility for:

  • maintaining and enhancing the processes by which the University assures the quality and standards of its awards
  • servicing the University Learning and Teaching Board, the Research and Taught Programme Approval Sub-Committees, the Working Group on Regulations and Conventions, the Academic Audit Committee and the Senate Academic Review Committee
  • providing an administrative liaison between the University and its validated partners who deliver programmes of study leading to a University award under collaborative arrangements
  • working closely with the Faculties Support Office and the Graduate School, thus ensuring that there is a concerted and collaborative approach to all aspects of quality assurance and enhancement within the University.
