Value Added Learning in University Education (VALUE)

These Web Pages provide practical information for students at the University of Kent who are interested in applying to join VALUE, or are on-programme. We also post important links to key VALUE processes, such as the on-line application form and current timetables, during each cycle of the VALUE Programme (February-October.)

General information about VALUE is then followed by sections for Canterbury VALUE students, and for Medway VALUE students.

If you have any questions about VALUE, or difficulties with these Web Pages, please contact value@kent.ac.uk.

The VALUE programme is for Stage I students who want to make the best of their time at University and who - for whatever reason - are concerned that they are not fulfilling their academic potential. Reasons for this might include anxiety about exams; study skills problems; academic difficulties or other issues.

The programme will develop participants' academic knowledge and understanding, key skills and learning strategies, through activities outlined below. The Programme is suitable for students of all ages, backgrounds and academic disciplines.
