Moodle Help
Most Moodle administration (e.g. creation of modules and adding staff/students to modules) is done automatically. if you experience any problems please contact your Faculty Learning Technologist.
Technical difficulties with Moodle should be reported to IS Helpdesk by emailing Helpdesk@kent.ac.uk.
If you would like help in using Moodle or have a departmental query relating to elearning that is not answered on the elearning FAQs please contact your Faculty Learning Technologist or email elearning@kent.ac.uk.
eLearning Aims
The University e-Learning strategy, approved by Senate in June 2007, aims to enhance the range of pedagogic uses of e-Learning by staff and students and to support the delivery of blended and flexible learning.
The strategy encourages departments to consider the use of technology in their teaching but does not set targets or prescribe how or when technology should be used, instead encouraging academics and departments to take ownership of e-learning.
The support available includes a Learning Technology team based in UELT and Faculties to help departments use technology effectively, creatively and confidently for the enhancement of thestudent learning experience.
The implementation of the University’s e-Learning strategy is supported by UELT in conjunction with academic departments and Information Services.
