Internal Events

Please note that the Academic Practice Forum, which used to run on Thursdays, between 12.15 and 2.00pm, no longer meets. Instead, UELT provides the Learning and Teaching Network and the Centre for the Study of Higher Education.

The Learning and Teaching Network now holds events for staff interested in developing practical aspects of their work with students. Events are broadly structured around the six categories used in the NSS questionnaire:

  • teaching
  • assessment and feedback
  • academic support
  • organisation and management
  • learning resources
  • personal development

The Centre for the Study of Higher Education now brings together academics from across the University with research interests in Higher Education. Contact Dr Janice Malcolm for more information.
