Welcome to the Tonbridge Centre
The University’s Tonbridge Centre has been established for over 25 years and offers opportunities for both academic study and career progression, and bespoke training for local business and government communities.
Our inspiring range of short courses and study days allows you time to explore a subject purely for interest, among like-minded people, without formal assessment. A broad range of subjects are offered each term, including Art History, Classics, Geology, History, Literature, Music, Psychology, Languages and Culture, and Creative Writing. New subject in our Spring 2015 programme are People and Conservation, and, Politics and International Relations.
We are hoping to offer a range of part-time postgraduate certificates and degrees at the Tonbridge Centre in the future.Thank you to those who completed our surveys in this respect. If you have not taken part in our survey but are interested to find out more, please contact us.
The Centre is also the University's west Kent base for the delivery of professional and executive education in collaboration with the Centre for Child Protection, the Centre for Professional Practice, Kent Business School and Kent Innovation and Enterprise. From September 2015 we are offering a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Practice designed to be studied alongside employment to aid career progression.
The Centre is situated in the town centre, a few minutes' walk from the High Street and Tonbridge railway station.
