Student room bookings

Authorised members of student societies can book rooms on Canterbury campus using the online booking form. Rooms are not available for society bookings on other campuses. For bookings related to a student's course, the appropriate School office should be approached to make the booking on the students behalf. Bookings can not be made for individual students for events not related to a society or academic course. The Student Activities Centre may make bookings on a student's behalf in these cases.

  • Student bookings must abide by the terms and conditions for room bookingsPDF file
  • Details of the event must not be publicised until approval for the room booking is confirmed.
  • Two weeks' notice is required for any event with an outside speaker so that the event can be approved by the Secretary of Council.
