The University of Kent was founded at Canterbury in 1965 and has since expanded to include centres at Medway and Tonbridge. The University Centre Tonbridge is a few minutes walk from the railway station, and comprises a small, friendly environment dedicated to part-time study.
Courses are available at certificate, diploma and full BA (Hons) degree level, or just for pleasure. Classes are generally of 2 hours duration at the same time each week in the daytime or evening, Monday to Friday.
There is also a range of short courses and Saturday Day Schools throughout the year.
