Graduate School
Kent has launched the Graduate School, a new University-wide resource to provide support for all postgraduate students from the various academic schools and campuses. Based on the Canterbury campus, the School provides facilities and training, and encourages intellectual interaction and social networking opportunities across all disciplines.
Welcome from the Dean
This is a very exciting time to be considering postgraduate study at the University of Kent and we trust that this prospectus will give you an insight into the many study and research opportunities that we can offer you.
Building on a strong tradition of postgraduate education, a Graduate School has been established to work in partnership with academic schools to enhance the quality of the postgraduate student experience across all campuses at Kent. We are here to champion the academic and social interests of the postgraduate community. In addition, the University has recently opened a new college dedicated to postgraduate students. Woolf College provides both accommodation and academic and social space for our postgraduates.
I am proud to have been appointed the first Dean of the Graduate School and I very much look forward to welcoming you to Kent and to working with you to ensure excellence in all aspects of your postgraduate study experience.
Professor Diane Houston Dean of the Graduate School
