Your degree will undoubtedly open the door to the career you want, but competition for jobs is fierce. You can increase your employability by showing practical experience of business skills and the best way to do this is to take up a work placement. This will ensure your CV stands out from the crowd when applying for the position you want and will give you that extra advantage. A work placement is also your chance to add another dimension to the theory you have learnt during your degree and to start putting it into practice.
Many of our 3-year undergraduate programmes are also available as 4-year options with either a year spent working in a commercial environment, or as a year spent studying science in a university overseas. We also have students placed in the University of Granada and at the Hong Kong City University.
