Besides the School-focussed research (click here for links), the Faculty also conducts cross-disciplinary research via Faculty Centres for research. The links on the right will take you to further information about the work of these Centres.
Research within the Faculty is organised into cohesive research groups, either within Schoolsor within and across Schools and Centres.

Both theoretical and laboratory-based scientific research is carried out, the latter demanding expensive state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.
