House of Commons Committee hears from Prof Alex Stevens

On 10th September, Professor Alex Stevens of SSPSSR spoke on drug policy at an international conference organised in London by the Commons Home Affairs Committee. The committee was especially interested to hear about the drug policies of Portugal and Sweden; subjects on which Professor Stevens has published research in the British Journal of Criminology, Drug and Alcohol Review and his book, Drugs, Crime and Public Health.
Alex Stevens is Professor in Criminal Justice at the University of Kents Medway campus, and is Deputy Head of the School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research.
