Kent Sport's next Wellness Day for staff and students will be in March 2014, details to be confirmed.
Participants will be able to find out about a range of activities that can have a positive effect on general health and wellbeing whilst browsing a range of stalls hosted by both University Departments and local Wellness providers.
Wellness is a dynamic concept in today’s media and by definition incorporates social, occupational, intellectual, physical, spiritual, emotional and environmental issues. The Wellness Day promises to consider all aspects of Wellness through the resources available on the stalls and the advice and guidance given by the hosts.
Amongst the stalls there will be drop-in workshops, health screening and resources to improve your knowledge about food choices, increasing physical activity, improving work-life balance, tips on relaxation, advice on giving up vices, exercising, managing medical conditions, lifestyle improvements, environmental projects and more.
