Spring School in Algebra and Representation Theory at Kent
24–28/04/2023

Lectures will start on Monday 24th April 2023 late morning and will end around lunchtime on Friday 28th April 2023.

Location

The meeting will take place at the University of Kent (Canterbury). The lectures will take place in Kennedy Seminar Room 10 near the Sibson Building where the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science. Click here for a printable map of the University of Kent.

Travel

Note that Canterbury has two train stations, Canterbury East and Canterbury West. The University can be reached by a pleasant half hour walk from Canterbury West, however, it might be more convenient to take a taxi to the University.

If you are traveling by Eurostar from Belgium or France, please note that Eurostars currently don't stop at Ashford International. There are regular trains between London St Pancras and Canterbury (West). The journey takes approximately 55 min.
Accommodation and financial support

Participants from UK, France and Germany will be supported financially and will have their local expenses paid for, including all meals from Monday lunch to Friday lunch, except for the registration fee; we have also fund to support travel expenses. Other Participants should contact Stéphane Launois (S.Launois@kent.ac.uk) to check if financial support is available. We have pre-booked (and paid for) 30 rooms for PhD students and early-career researchers. They will be allocated on a first-come first served basis.
