2nd Eastern Arc Conference on Topological Solitons and Quantum Fluids

There will be a conference on Topological Solitons and Quantum Fluids at the University of Kent, on Tuesday, 03/05/2016, and Wednesday, 04/05/2016. The aim of the conference is to form closer links between the Topological Soliton group at the University of Kent, the Quantum Fluids group at the University of East Anglia and the Nonlinear Waves group at the University of Essex. The talks will take place in the Maths Lecture Theatre at the SMSAS at Kent. A detailed schedule can be downloaded here.

Details on the 1st Eastern Arc Conference on Topological Solitons and Quantum Fluids which took place in June 2015 can be found here.

Organising Committee

Please email Dr Steffen Krusch at S.Krusch@kent.ac.uk or Jennifer Ashcroft at jea29@kent.ac.uk, in case you are interested in attending the conference. Women speakers, in particular, are encouraged to present a talk and attend the conference.

Please contact one of the organisors to discuss what we can do to enable participation by people with children or family responsibilities. The London Mathematical Society and the Institute of Physics also make available grants to assist parents and carers to attend meetings.
