This is a mini-workshop funded by the London Mathematical Society under a Scheme 1 grant for holding an inaugural meeting to celebrate the appointment of Markus Rosenkranz as a Lecturer in Mathematics at the University of Kent. See here for the workshop poster.

The meeting will take place in the McVittie Library (SMSAS, Cornwallis building, first floor). Tentative schedule:

Everybody is welcome to attend the mini-workshop as well as the dinner scheduled to take place after the workshop. We charge a nominal registration fee of £5 per person, which will be waived for graduate students; dinner is not included in the registration fee.
