Welcome to Applied Maths

The present research interests of the Mathematics Group include non linear phenomena, applied analysis and differential equations, geometric integration, integrable systems, Lie groups and moving frames, mathematical physics and quantum groups, representation theory and invariant theory, computational algebra, discrete mathematics and functional analysis.

The group comprises 2 Professors, 1 Reader and 3 Lecturers. We also have two Emeritus Professors in Applied Mathematics, Roy Chisholm and Alan Common.
