Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world – outside Spain it is the official language of most countries in South and Central America and is widespread in many parts of North America, making our graduates both excellent communicators and proficient linguists. Hispanic Studies at Kent offers a range of undergraduate single and joint honours programmes which allow students to study at beginner, Intermediate (post-GCSE) or advanced level (post-A level). The programmes also offer opportunities to study and work abroad, a wide selection of modules (from politics to literature) and state-of-the-art language facilities. Our postgraduate programmes at both our Canterbury and Paris centres offer more specialist study supported by academics with track records in world-leading research.
