School of Anthropology & Conservation

Excellence in diversity Global in reach

Funded Research Projects

The school has a long tradition of high-quality research among its staff which makes for a strong research culture. The breadth of expertise within the school enables us to provide research supervision on a very wide range of topics across the full spectrum of the disciplines. Our staff have outstanding international research profiles, yet integrate this with considerable on-the-ground experience. Much of our research is conducted in collaboration with government organisations, NGOs, businesses, academics and students. Below you will find details of current research projects, arranged by cluster, to give you a flavour of the diversity of activity in which we are involved.
