If you are an MSc student, see Coursework deadlines - MSc programmes and Concessions procedures - MSc programmes.

How do I get back work that has been marked, and how long will I have to wait?

Essays will be returned to you in class by the marker unless you are notified otherwise. Work submitted by the deadline will normally be returned within three term-time weeks. You can check your marks on the University website via the Student Data System.

When you are asked to collect your work from the Psychology Student Office, you cannot do so until the mark appears on the Student Data System. This applies to students in all years.

Why has my mark been withheld?

Because the work was submitted late and requires concessionary evidence.

I'm unable to come in to pick up my extended essay. Can you Email me the mark?

Yes, if you contact Vicky Ward she will Email you the mark, but don't forget that it is provisional.

What should I do if I’m having problems with my work?

The Student Advisor, Lisa Clark, should be your first point of contact for help and advice if you are experiencing problems with your studies. For detailed information on sources of help in the School and elsewhere in the University, see our Student support services page.

How do I submit concessionary evidence?

For concessionary evidence relating to the late submission of work see the information under Coursework deadlines on our Coursework Assessment and Examinations page.

For concessionary evidence concerning performance in, or absence from, an examination or other assessment see the information under Concessionary evidence on our Coursework Assessment and Examinations page.
