Experience Excellence Studying People
Research on this topic spans basic theory development through to important application of psychological research to health behaviour. Much of the research is carried out in our psychological laboratories, through surveys and in clinical settings.
Research within this topic concentrates on themes such as the adaptive functions of perfectionism, personality and values, consequences of mortality salience, psycho-social predictors of health decision-making (e.g., vaccinations), eating disorders and dysfunctional exercise.
