Social Inequality and Cohesion

Research within this topic signifies the importance of combining theory-driven research with engagement with policy. This research is conducted through the Centre for the Study of Group Processes (CSGP) and is carried out through national and international surveys and policy reviews.

Research within this topic focuses on policy-relevant themes such as the well-being of the elderly population in Britain, work participation and motherhood, prejudice against and social exclusion of different groups in society.
