My research focuses on individual differences in eating behaviour and how these differences may contribute to attentional biases. Currently I am investigating how cognitive control processes differ amongst restrained and emotional eaters when these individuals are presented with emotionally salient stimuli. I am also interested in the role cognitive control may play in the successful maintenance of long-term behavioural goals such as successful dieting.
