Porton Down Witness Archive (PDWA)

The Porton Down Witness Archive (PDWA) is intended to document and archive the recollections of former Porton Down personnel, including those who attended Porton Down as human volunteers, as well as those who worked there as medical officers, laboratory scientists, government and military experts.

We would like to encourage those interested in contacting us to make arrangements to record and document their testimony for future generations and scholarship. We feel there is a danger that much of the experience and memory of Porton Down may get lost if it is not properly archived. The cost of interviewing and recording will be met by us and participants in the Porton Down Witness Archive programme will be given a transcript of their testimony.
