The Centre offers a small number of bursaries for the MA in Comparative Federalism – supported by the James Madison Trust – designed largely to assist towards the payment of university fees.
Students who excel in their studies also have the possibility to apply for some partial funding towards their registration fees for doctoral research in federal studies in the Department.
In exceptional cases, it may be possible to offer students a bursary to pay the full costs of university fees. Research students can also apply for a Departmental Teaching Fellowship, offered on a competitive basis and requiring up to six hours a week of undergraduate teaching during term.
If you wish to apply for one of our scholarships please apply in writing to Professor Michael Burgess, Centre for Federal Studies, Dept. of Politics and IR, The University of Kent, Canterbury, Kent, CT2 7NX.
