Federal Studies at Kent
The primary purpose of the Centre for Federal Studies (CFS) is to promote an interest in and an opportunity to study all aspects of federal studies at the University by means of;
- Teaching: Undergraduate and postgraduate
- Research: MA and doctoral
- Events: Lectures and seminars, conferences and workshops
- Regular contributions by distinguished scholars and speakers.
The CFS is the only one of its kind in the United Kingdom and it welcomes expressions of interest from both students and established scholars in any branch of federal studies.
Our goal is the development of a national research centre that is integrated into an international network of centres for federal studies designed to attract both European and overseas students as well as established scholars of federalism.
