About us
The Planning and Business Information Office (formerly the Student Planning Data Office) is responsible for the provision of management information, both external and internal, on the complete range of student academic activity. This includes all statutory student external returns, including the major returns to the Higher Education Funding Council of England (HEFCE) and to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA).
The management information produced by the Planning and Business Information Office and available on our Kent intranet site includes:
- student numbers and student load reports
- student number and load projections
- admissions (applications and offers) data
- module results and progression analysis, University and Academic School performance dashboard
- benchmarking the University within the HE sector
- Key Performance Indicators
- student experience surveys (both internal and external)
