Stay Calm, Act Quickly!

DO NOT MOVE CASUALTY unless in imminent danger. Stay with casualty if possible. Take care not to endanger yourself.In the case of ELECTRIC SHOCK ensure current is switched off.
CHECK BREATHING If none, CLEAR AIRWAY and then, if breathing has not restarted, give MOUTH-TO-MOUTH RESUSCITATION
IF VOMITING TURN CASUALTY ON SIDE to allow drainage.
STEM ANY BLEEDING using sterile dressings or clean clothing.
SEND SOMEONE FOR LOCAL FIRST AIDER AND FIRST AID MATERIALS
DIAL 3333 on any internal telephone and call for an AMBULANCE. Report the accident briefly and accurately, giving appropriate address: UNIVERSITY OF KENT, INGRAM BUILDING
MAKE SURE someone meets the Ambulance at: THE MAIN ENTRANCE TO INGRAM BUILDING
REASSURE CASUALTY
