Visit and open days
The university offers both open days and UCAS visit days giving you the chance to see the campus, department and university facilities.
Open days are available to anyone who wishes to attend. There will be a chance to see the campus on a tour given by current students and to meet academic staff from the department who will be happy to answer your questions. Other service departments such as the accommodation office are also available to provide you with any information you require.
UCAS visit days are for those who have been offered a place at the University. They are specific to your course and will therefore offer more information that is relevent to you, giving you a chance to meet current staff and students from your prospective subject area. The School of Physical Sciences visit days typically take place between February and March and you should allow a whole day for your visit.
