Applying and making the transition to university is an exciting time, but the amount of information, documentation and choice that is involved in sending your son or daughter to university means it is easy to feel overwhelmed by it all.
We have created these web pages and this guide in recognition of your need for information as parents and carers.
We hope you find it useful and that it helps to answer some of the questions you may have regarding your son or daughter’s transition into higher education.
This guide contains more in-depth information than is contained on these web pages - taking you through each step of the process, including choosing a course and university, making an application, fees, finance, receiving offers and what to expect when you get there.
We also include a little about what Kent has to offer. It is never too soon (or too late!) to start thinking about university and we hope that these pages and this guide will help you – and you son or daughter - to make an informed and successful decision.
