Darwin Lecture and Feast
Dan is a Lecturer in political and development geographies at the University of Sheffield and Research Associate at the University of the Free State, South Africa. Following degrees from the University of Oxford and University of Edinburgh he has held posts at the University of Edinburgh and University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. His work focuses on geographies of citizenship and identity in southern Africa, the use of technologies for democratisation, and geopolitical engagements with political satire and state iconography.
